Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026 · Draft wording, pending independent legal review. This page explains how the site actually works; it is not legal advice. Questions: Plain-language summary. Questions: contact us.
What we collect and why
- Account details (name, email, phone, password) — to run your account, sign you in, and let vendors manage listings or couples use the planner.
- Inquiries (your name, email, phone, wedding date, message) — sent to the business you contact so it can reply with availability and pricing, and stored so both sides keep a record.
- Reviews and owner replies — shown publicly on business profiles, with your display name.
- Business listings and portfolios — shown publicly in the directory exactly as the owner supplies them.
- Wedding plans (budget, guests, checklist, timeline) — private to your account.
- Bank-slip images — uploaded only when you subscribe to a paid plan, seen only by admins approving payment.
Who receives your inquiry
When you send an inquiry, your name, email, phone number, wedding date and message go to that business — by email to the owner's account address and into its dashboard inbox. Sending an inquiry is a quote request, not a booking, and the business replies directly. KissMe staff can access inquiries for support and abuse handling.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal details.
- We send no marketing emails. If we ever introduce optional updates, they will be a separate opt-in — never bundled into inquiry, account or purchase flows.
- We never translate or rewrite vendor-supplied listing content.
How long we keep data
Account, listing, inquiry, review and plan data is kept while your account is active so the directory and your tools keep working. Changing a business category permanently deletes its photos, packages, reviews and inquiries (we warn before you confirm). To request a copy or deletion of your personal data, contact us — there is currently no self-serve export or delete-account button, so requests are handled manually.
Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a language preference, and — only if you tick “Remember me” — a remember-me cookie. Password-reset links expire after 60 minutes and work once.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date at the top of this page.
